Go Ask Alice! is Columbia’s award-winning health Q&A online resource. As the oldest major health Q&A site on the web, the service began in the fall of 1993, initially just for Columbia students and went online for all to see the next year.
The interactive website provides readers all over the world with reliable, accurate, accessible, and culturally competent health information, giving a range of thoughtful perspectives to help them make responsible and informed decisions concerning their health and well-being.
Who Answers the Questions?
The Go Ask Alice! site is supported by a team of Columbia University health promotion specialists, health care providers, and other health professionals, along with a staff of information and research specialists and writers. Our team members have advanced degrees in public health, health education, medicine, counseling, and a number of other relevant fields.
