Tiffany Witko

Tiffany Witko (she/her) joined Columbia Health in March 2024. In her role as Accommodations Manager, she:

  • Manages non-academic accommodations for students, including housing accommodations, service and assistance animals on campus, sign-language interpreting, and CART services as well as campus access accommodations
  • Provides guidance to faculty, staff, and students regarding accessibility issues and works closely with Housing, Facilities, Public Safety, and the University Registrar to implement campus access accommodations
  • Coordinates accommodations for students, guests, visitors, and alumni attending University-sponsored programs and events

Before she joined Columbia Health, Tiffany started her career as a teacher in public schools. She taught social studies and worked with students in special education. Later, she moved to a private Catholic high school to enhance their program for students with disabilities. Then, she left teaching to work as a Learning Specialist at Hofstra University.

In her free time, Tiffany enjoys doing The Bar Method, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and touring historic landmarks, especially in New York City.
