Survivor care packages at Columbia Health
Sexual Violence Response (SVR) puts together a variety of care package items, free of charge, for survivors of violence. These packages are intended to aid survivors during times of immediate need and support their continued well-being.
Some of the items in a care package may include (but are not limited to):
- Clothing
- Pillows, bedding, and linens
- Toiletries
- Personal care items
- Self-care tools
- Small household necessities
- Travel items
- Portable cell phone chargers
- Scrubs (CUIMC only)
Who is eligible?
Survivors who engage with Sexual Violence Response (SVR) services are eligible to access our care package program.
How do I get a survivor care package?
You may request a care package by contacting an advocate at the SVR helpline at 212-854-4357 (HELP) or by walking into any SVR location during open hours.
How much will it cost?
Our survivor care packages are free!

SVR is available to support students 24/7/365. You may call 212-854-3500 during business hours or email [email protected] to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment.
