Columbia Health is proud to announce that Alice Sardarian (Barnard, '21), outgoing Captain of CUEMS (Columbia University Emergency Medical Service), has won the prestigious Collegiate EMS Provider of the Year at the 2021 NCEMSF Conference. Alice served as Captain for the 2020-2021 service year and is also a Crew Chief on the CUEMS Medical Board. Alice has been a member of CUEMS since Fall 2017.

In winning this honor, Alice showed outstanding leadership to a campus-based EMS organization, significantly contributed to the success of the organization. Leadership in and service to other campus and community organizations can be considered, but are secondary to service to the campus EMS organization, and delivered exemplary service well beyond the scope of routine duty.

Congratulations, Alice!

CUEMS is a division of the Columbia University Department of Public Safety and Columbia Health.
