#OurKidsAreDating: Talking about Relationships with Teens & Young Adults

During this interactive program in recognition of Relationship Violence Awareness Month, participants will learn about adolescent and young adult development, vulnerability for relationship violence, and strategies for talking to teens & young adults. Participants will also practice responding effectively to disclosures of abuse. This workshop is open to parents, students, administrators, and faculty and will be facilitated by presenters from Day One, an organization dedicated to ending dating and domestic violence. Lunch will be provided and attendance for the full timeframe is requested. Space is limited! RSVP to guarantee your spot. About the presenters: Day One’s mission is to partner with youth to end dating abuse and domestic violence through community education, supportive services, legal advocacy and leadership development.
