Insurance Office Directory

  • Steven Veach joined Columbia Health in 2009. Prior to joining Columbia, he was employed as the Enrollment/COB Manager at University Health Plans in Salt Lake City, Utah.

  • Karin has been in the insurance industry for 15 years. She worked with Colonial Life as a Regional Instructor as well as in various roles in Territory Sales and Development and Enrollment. Karin also partnered with Blueprint Benefit Advisors as an Account Manager, assisting with proposals, planning, and renewals. She has extensive knowledge of benefits as well as enrollment, claims, and referral processes.

A teacher by nature, Karin is passionate about advocating for others, helping them to understand and utilize their plans in the best way possible. She has been on both sides – experiencing the frustrations first-hand, and now guiding others to better understand insurance and avoid the potential pitfalls.

In her free time, Karin enjoys time with family and friends. On weekends you can find Karin biking along the Hudson, in a park, at a beach, or strolling through museums and galleries.

  • Giselle (she/her) serves as a primary point of contact for students. Duties include investigating and responding to inquiries about the student health insurance plan benefits and eligibility, assisting in the enrollment and waiver process, performing benefit and referral verifications, and more.

Prior to joining Columbia Health, Giselle was attending Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College. While finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology and minor in Chemistry, she worked for two years as a pharmacy technician for CVS.

Giselle was born and raised in NYC and is no stranger to the fast-paced culture of the city. That is why in her free time she loves to take a pause and spend time doing leisure activities such as watching anime and listening to music of all genres throughout decades. Her favorite weekend activities include trying out new restaurants around the city (with the best pasta!) and volunteering at DOROT where she engages in friendly calls with senior adults.

  • A Los Angeles native (go Dodgers!), Cynthia moved to NYC in 2017. She has worked in the health insurance industry for over 17 years in a variety of different roles including Enrollment/Eligibility Representative, Utilization Management Coordinator, Business Analyst, and Review Analyst.

As a recent thyroid cancer survivor, she is dedicated to helping people navigate the insurance world and encouraging everyone to be their own health advocate. In Cynthia's free time, you will find her at a baseball game, a Broadway musical, a museum, or Target.
