What is Mens Role in Preventing Sexual Violence? A Panel Discussion
What is men’s role in preventing sexual violence? More specifically, what does this look like in a college campus setting? What is rape culture, as perpetuated by men? How can we deconstruct unhealthy norms of masculinity? How do other forms of oppression or oppressive institutions connect to sexual violence? How can I be an effective ally in the work to end sexual violence? These are just a few of the questions that our panel members will address in this upcoming discussion, as well as speak to their own experiences in the anti-violence movement.
A moderated Q&A session will follow as well as an open discussion. Brought to you by Sexual Violence Response: Men’s Peer Education and co-sponsored by the Intra-Fraternity Council.
Open to men only.
