Omar joined Alice! in 2017 and is a first year post-baccalaureate student in premedical studies at Columbia University. Prior to attending Columbia, Omar worked as a land rights specialist at the World Bank, analyst at Constant Contact, and a math instructor for 6th and 7th grade students. In his spare time, Omar’s main interests include playing soccer, going to museums, reading sci-fi novels, and volunteering at Columbia Medical Center. Omar graduated from UC Berkeley in 2013 with a bachelors in economics and is fluent in Arabic.
