Joli began her work with Sexual Violence Response in January of 2016. Over the course of six years, Joli held multiple positions with the nonprofit organization Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW). As a Program Coordinator, Joli worked diligently to oversee more than three hundred students graduate from the building and construction trades’ pre-apprenticeship program. At NEW, Joli facilitated classes on intercultural communication and job readiness. Joli developed innovative programs for NEW such as the Sexual Harassment Identification and Management curriculum launched in November 2015 and the Mentorship program launched in November 2012.

Additionally, Joli is an active volunteer in the human sexuality fields. As a Volunteer Curriculum Committee member with the OutSmartNYC Collective, Joli is aiding in the development of the curriculum and coinciding materials for a program intended to train nightlife staff in Bystander Intervention to promote sexual violence prevention. Joli is also a Volunteer Facilitator for the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Sexual Health Leadership Course to promote better patient care for LGBTQAI+ identified folks.
