Workshops, Groups, and Trainings
Disability Services

Disability Services offers a variety of disability-related workshops based on student interest. Faculty and staff workshops are conducted upon request and are custom designed by the specific topic chosen by the faculty or staff. The workshops are conducted by either Disability Services staff or by an outside facilitator.

Disability Services also offers periodic workshops for registered students that are designed to assist students with disabilities in developing their academic and compensatory skills. In addition, the department co-sponsors workshops focused on disability studies, culture, and awareness throughout the academic year. For more information, please contact Disability Services.

Disability Networking Group (DNG)

The Disability Networking Group (DNG) is a student networking group facilitated by Disability Services to discuss topics chosen by students related to their experiences as a student with a disability at Columbia University. The group is inclusive of all disability types and open to all students who identify as having a disability. Students do not need to be registered with Disability Services to attend.

DNG will not be held during the Summer session. Please check back for updated information about dates, topics, and location during the school year.
