Debra joined Columbia Health in 2008. In her role as Learning Specialist, Debra works with students in one-on-one and group settings to develop compensatory strategies around global areas of learning. Debra works with students to build skills in areas of test taking, reading, writing, presentations, and note taking. She also works with students to develop organizational and time management skills.

Prior to joining Disability Services, Debra was a special educator in New Jersey for over 25 years. Most recently, she worked as the Learning Consultant at Livingston High School in Livingston, NJ. Debra enjoys traveling through the southwest United States, cooking, going to the theater, and walking along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway in New Jersey.
