Tara Ostrowe joined Columbia Health in March 2007. In addition to working at Columbia Health she has a private nutrition practice in Manhattan. Tara was the nutritionist at Barnard College Student Health Services for two and half years, where she had also been a member of the multidisciplinary eating disorder team. 

Prior to joining Columbia Health, Tara worked for more than six years as the Senior Dietitian at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. Tara is a registered dietitian and has a B.S. in dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a M.S. in Applied Physiology and Nutrition from Columbia University Teachers College. Tara has a strong background in working with individuals for weight management, eating disorder management and sports nutrition.
