Psychiatrist
Karimi Mailutha, M.D., M.P.H., joined Columbia Health in 2011. She completed her residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University and Cornell University and her adult psychiatry training at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. She earned her medical degree at Harvard University and her Masters in Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a focus in clinical epidemiology and international health.
Karimi’s professional interests include affective illness, cultural psychiatry, mental health needs of undocumented minor youth, community psychiatry and psychiatry training/education. She also supervises training psychiatry residents through the Columbia University Adult Psychiatry Training program.
