Alana joined Columbia Health in 2011 while pursuing an advanced degree in adolescent health at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. As a third generation New Yorker, Alana enjoys giving back to her community by educating and empowering today’s youth to make healthy life decisions. Prior to joining the Alice! team, Alana spent the past three years working in the Mayor’s Office as the Program Coordinator of a violence-prevention program for at-risk youth. In her free time, Alana likes to run outdoors, read mystery novels, play trivia and cook.
