Mia Ihm

Mia Ihm joined Columbia Health in 2011. Prior to joining Columbia Health, Mia completed her clinical internship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Manhattan. Over the course of her training, she held clinical positions at Bellevue Hospital Center, Gouverneur Healthcare Services, and the Hope Program. Mia earned her B.A. from Smith College and her M.Phil. in clinical psychology from Columbia University.

Mia’s professional interests include identity development in college students, the effects of trauma on interpersonal relations, the impact of lack of insight in psychotic disorders on treatment adherence and therapeutic alliance, and understanding the adjustment difficulties of returning veterans.
