Christine spent 14 years working in local public health prior to joining the Amsterdam Practice Group. Her earlier experience was in all phases of mother-baby and pediatric nursing. Christine spends her free time writing. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, American Journal of Nursing, and Working Nurse.
