Adam Baumwoll joined Columbia Health in July 2010. In his role as coordinator, he works with student athletes, undergraduate students from Columbia College and the School of General Studies, and students from the Journalism School, School of International and Public Affairs, and the School of Continuing Education.

Adam most recently received a second master's degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW). While attending CUSSW, Adam worked in the Children’s Day Unit of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and at Weston United Transitional Living Community in Harlem. Before completing his degree in Social Work, Adam spent five years as a sports anchor for FOX 8 and ABC 23 in Johnstown, PA, and for News 12 Bronx/Brooklyn. He also earned an M.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University.

Adam enjoys hanging out with family and friends, and is a passionate sports fan, especially when it comes to the Yankees, New York Giants, and Syracuse basketball. He is looking forward to blending his career interests at the Office of Disability Services at Columbia.
