Danielle joined Columbia Health in 2011, while pursuing her Masters in Public Health at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Prior to beginning her graduate study, Danielle worked as a health communication researcher, studying the influence of message valence, inclusions of responsibility recognition, and framing on viewers’ motivations to engage in health behaviors. Her current research interests include effective messaging strategies, evaluation, preventative health, and social disparities.
Danielle also has a background in science writing, which extends across a variety of disciplines, as well as advertising agency experience.
