Columbia Health Program

By paying the Columbia Health Program fee, students enroll in the Columbia Health Program and can access the programs and services provided on campus through our five departments. The fee is mandatory and automatically billed through the Student Account Statement to all full-time students and to those who elect enrollment in the Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plan. Other students may elect enrollment in the Columbia Health Program; the fee is then added to the Student Account Statement. The fee provides coverage for services from September 1 through August 31 of the following year.

It is important to note that laboratory tests, radiology services, and prescriptions ordered by Columbia Health providers are not covered by the fee. Students will need to provide their health insurance coverage information at the time these services are received.

Students not enrolled in the Columbia Health Program may receive care through Medical Services for a fee of $60 per visit.

Spouses and partners of Columbia students are not eligible to enroll in the Columbia Health Program. In urgent situations, spouses and partners may receive care at Medical Services for a $60 fee per visit. Columbia Health is unable to provide services to dependent children.

Enrollment for Students in Special Categories
Part-time students and students in the Executive MBA and Executive MPA programs may request enrollment in the Columbia Health Program. The Columbia Health Program enrollment form must be submitted to the Columbia Health Insurance Office.
